Photos by BellaRose » Kiddos http://photosbybellarose.com/blog Tue, 24 May 2011 00:41:33 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.1.2 :::Happy Holidays::: http://photosbybellarose.com/blog/2010/12/happy-holidays-3/ http://photosbybellarose.com/blog/2010/12/happy-holidays-3/#comments Wed, 15 Dec 2010 16:31:59 +0000 Jessica Coronado http://photosbybellarose.com/blog/?p=1708 So I figured that since I am almost done taking everyone else’s holiday portraits I better get started on my own!  My mom and I shopped for a few days before the shoot and found some really cute stuff…..about $400 later!!  Anyway, I love the way the girls look in their outfits, and whoever said [...]]]> So I figured that since I am almost done taking everyone else’s holiday portraits I better get started on my own!  My mom and I shopped for a few days before the shoot and found some really cute stuff…..about $400 later!!  Anyway, I love the way the girls look in their outfits, and whoever said redheads can’t wear red??  I think it looks beautiful.  And I’m sure other mom’s can relate…taking photos of our own children can be quite the chore.  I normally compare myself to Kate Gosselin, she is just downright nasty sometimes, aaaaand that may or not me be me when I try to shoot photos of my girls, just sayin’.  But I was so pleasantly surprised this time.  Frankie, my youngest, was such a freaking ham.  I seriously didn’t tell her to do one thing.  She would just sit there and give me these serious looks, or put her hand under her chin etc.  And when it came time for the shot of all of them together (this is when I really get pissed if they don’t cooperate….) they just laughed their butts off when Frankie said a few words that I shall not repeat on this site (where does she learn these things?), and hugged and played.  It was perfect.  I am so in love with these photos of my girls. Looking at them feeling so happy makes me realize how truly blessed I am this holiday season.  I have 3 happy, healthy daughters, a wonderful and extremely patient husband, and the best family in the entire world!  I hope this holiday season finds you the same way, surrounded by love and family and all the best that this holiday season has to offer.  Happy Holidays, from my family to yours!!!

I am now booking Holiday Glam Sessions!  This is a great way to capture your kiddos wearing their awesome holiday outfits.  Don’t know about you but I go and buy my girls a holiday dress every year and they love to get all dressed up and have their photos taken!  Here is the info: Sessions will be held at the studio on Thursday, November 18th, from 10 – 5, and on Friday, November 19th, from 10 – 3.  Sessions last about 45 minutes and include an 8×10 print, and a CD of 5 images with a print release.  The fee for this session is $175 and is due upon booking.  I accept cash/check or credit/debit cards via Paypal.  To book a spot on either Thursday or Friday contact me with your preferred time and we will get you scheduled!  You can call, email, or use the contact form at the top of this page!  Looking forward to hearing from you!

:::On 10.16.2010 I will be teaching a basic photography class for BEGINNERS.  You must own a DSLR to get the most from this class.  The main focus of this class will be to learn how to shoot strictly using your manual settings, what all those crazy buttons do on your camera, what aperature, ISO, and shutter speed are and how they all work together etc.  We will be covering lighting and composition as well.  We will NOT, however, be covering Photoshop.  Class will be held at the studio in SLC and will last about 4-5 hours.  Lunch will be included.  Cost for this class is $200 – due at time of registration.

:::And for all you beautiful women out there!!!!  On 10.9.2010 book a BOUDOIR mini session.  These sessions are 1 hour in length and will take place at the studio in SLC.  Sessions will come with a med-res CD of 10 images, print release included, and 3 mini books custom designed with your images included. Christmas is right around the corner and what a better gift for your significant other than gorgeous images of YOU!!!  Cost for this session is $250 – due at time of booking to secure dates.  I have a few of these spots still available.

I can’t do a post to my blog without a picture.  This is my youngest, Frankie.  I have tried to shoot her portraits so many times!!!  2 year olds.  They don’t like it much. Call it luck, or a good mood, or bribery, but she did so good at this session and I am so pleased with how the portraits turned out.  As always, if you are interested in booking a portrait session use the contact form at the top of this blog and we will hook up!!!
