It’s about that time!

You know that time that we love and hate all at the same time. We wish we could continue to spend our summers sleeping in, spending long days at the swimming pool, and late nights playing outside. But ya know, by mid-summer my kids are kinda-sorta sick of the pool, we have pretty much gone everywhere and done everything, and really exhausted all our options for entertainment. Enter children who are bored, mis-behave constantly, and even though they don’t know it, are ready to go back to school. And I think I am ready to haha!

And I am sure we can all relate to those cheesy photos that are done the first few weeks of school. You know the ones that every year we keep getting, and every year we end up pissed off because our child’s eyes are closed, or they have a huge hair sticking out of a pony tail that they just had to have that morning for their picture, and did we seriously just waste money on that?!? If you can’t tell that has happened to me…a few times. But you know what I mean.

Here’s what I’m talking about: Sessions are $175. This is a session for 1 child, each additional add $20, pretty please. Sessions are 30 minutes in length, with 15 minutes between each session. You can choose an Urban, country, or a studio session. There will be 4 openings available for each.

Here’s what you get: {2} 8×10′s, {3} 5×7′s, {2} sets of 8 wallets (you get to choose your images for print), and 8 images on CD with copyright release. Pretty smokin’ deal!! Package is valued at over $350!!

My girl

Oh my goodness this little lady just melts my heart in a major way! She is almost 7 now….where does the time go? Now that we are in our new home I really want to work on getting some of my photos up on the walls so I have been taking my girls down to the studio to take their photos. Now all I have to do is get Frankie down there, easier said than done. She is 2 and I know that she purposely does whatever she can to NOT look at me once she notices my camera. I won’t hold my breath for that one. So here is a peek at Sophie’s session. She had a blast with it and seriously worked it for the camera!!

My new love…….

I am so absolutely excited to announce that I am now booking in-studio portrait sessions. Cool, right?!? I will still be doing natural light photography as well, in case ya were wondering. How cute are these pics of my oldest daughter, Bella? She is all about being the center of attention and was the perfect model for this shoot. She had a blast and I can really see her personality in these photos. My girlies are the reason I even became interested in photography, and they are what inspire me on a daily basis. Ooooh, I love them and that red hair!!! And of course, I have to thank my friend Vanessa for being so awesome and showing me around the studio AND for giving me her studio expertise!!! She is the best and is one of the most talented photographers I know. Thanks V!!

Hello gorgeous!!! I had a great time taking photos of this beautiful girl, and her best friend, Paris!! When I first met Chelsey we were sorting out her clothes she had picked out up in her room and it was totally decorated with all of her ribbons and trophies she has won from horse riding. She has been riding for 6 years and seems to really enjoy it. And her horse is just adorable!! Congrats on your upcoming graduation!!! So many fun shoots to post, as well as some super exciting news for my business!!! Can’t wait to share!

Ashley and Judge | Engagements

Ok. Seriously. I cannot remember the last time I laughed this hard at a session. Like, it was getting bad. I was laughing so hard that I was shaking the camera, losing my balance when I was kneeling down etc. But I had soooo much fun. Judge and Ashley are the freaking cutest couple ever!!!!! Lovey dovey, great sense of humor, easy going, love love love them!!! They will be having a gorgeous outdoor summer wedding, let’s hope the weather decides to make up it’s mind and be warm by mid June. We were so worried about the crazy UT weather the day of our shoot because it has been nothing but crazy lately. It called for a mix of rain and snow on the day of their shoot, but it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day. Thanks you guys! I had a great time.

Sweetness.

Such sweet little girls. They were both so well behaved and Little Miss T. was so cute and smiley and giggly for most of the session. She was in awe of the gorgeous blossoms at the orchards, like in that first pic, she was just staring at them. So sweet!! And I thought I had oodles of little girl bow’s and other accessories. Their mom has more cute stuff than I have ever seen!! She also filled me in on a little site called Baby Steals. Love. They have a great deal every day and you can get cute stuff for your kids for so cheap. We will be shooting little babe’s 6 month portraits soon as well. Can’t wait for those. That is such a fun age to photograph. Enjoy!!
